In Summary: They fucking rock!
Their calculated beats and rhythm rock my iPod daily, haha true true. If you like Justice, Daft Punk, any electronica check them out. They have a softer sound yet more vocals which I like better than just beats.
I discovered them when my friend lent me a bunch of her sisters mixes, I added them to my iTunes and immersed myself. I honestly don't know any of the names of the songs because it listed them as Track 1, Track 2, etc. It even took me a few months to realize the songs I liked were by Crystal Castles, I found out on Pandora. I still don't legitimately own any of the music, I did download some remixes, but the originals are fucking ridiculous, must listens.
Go to http://crystalcastles.com/ to download remixes at least, they're free :).
Courtship Dating is an awesome song :)

Everything that interests me and hopefully you in return. I'm Anna, 16 and this is me.

Art Obsession Of The Moment: Banksy
Street Art/Graffiti is the shit. Banksy is the fucking king of street art. He's anonymous and does all these social statement pieces. To get more of the story watch "Exit Through the Gift Shop" a documentary directed by Banksy. I've recently started delving into the world of stencil art so it was really inspiring to see all of Banksy's pieces and other artists such as Shepard Fairey well known for his image of Barack Obama on the change posters and the Obey black and white piece.
The infuriating part of "Exit.." is the success of Thierry Guetta, the French film maker, in his own pop art which he didn't even make, he just hired a huge staff. Sure they were his ideas, but how original were they anyway? Not really.
Anyway if you love street art, which you should, then check it out. Really I don't see the problem with graffiti, I hate tagging, but if someone has a message I think it's a great way for the message to get out, a beautiful way to get across a social statement.
Here are pictures of Banksy's art on the west bank in Israel:

While searching through images of Banksy's work I came across a really cool website, http://thebinarybox.co.uk/collections-wall-stickers/banksy-wall-stickers.html. There you can buy wall stickers of Banksy's most famous pieces to place on your own wall. How awesome, yeah?
With the overwhelming political climate right now the world needs an outlet such as street art. Banksy is a genius, check him out.
I am Anna, that is me, if you don't like it, GTFO. (I tried to rhyme, it didn't really work)
My name is Anna, obviously. I'm 16, I love fashion, music, snowboarding, lacrosse, music theater, talking, reading, lots of things that I will share.
I have a short attention span so when I say something is my obsession of the moment I really mean it, not really, but sorta. You'll figure it out.
When i grow up I want to be a fashion designer. This summer I applied to go to School of the Art Institute of Chicago pre college summer program, 3 week intensive fashion program. I sent in my portfolio online and my mailed application should arrive soon. I really hope to get in.
I like art, I take art at school, here is some of my art:

I like art, I take art at school, here is some of my art:
"Implode" 2010, palette knife, acrylic on canvas
I did that for my art class last semester and ended up actually really liking it. It's made using a palette knife which at first is really difficult. It's a little plastic or metal (if you like to spend money) flat knife or tiny spatula thingy. It's annoying and reduced me to finger painting a majority of the time.
Anyway I submitted this in my portfolio, tell me what you think.
Thats it for now, I'll post my random thoughts and obsessions of the moment when they come to me :P.
